Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced vet to lead the team and make their mark in this independent, friendly and successful clinic in a vibrant area of North East London.

My clients have a very happy working environment, as well as wonderful, bonded clients. They pride themselves on the level of service they offer their clients, and always work to the highest standards. You would be fully supported by their highly motivated team. Their senior nurse, who is responsible for most of the administration, also has a certificate in ECC, is a clinical coach and a pet health councillor.

The practice benefits from the most recent comprehensive in -house Idexx lab suite, digital and dental x-ray and they are happy to support vets with their individual interests. The role is ideally 4 and ½ days a week but has the potential to be 4-day week with every Thursday off. Saturdays are 1:2. There is no overnight work. They would love you to support their hospital colleagues at our RCVS accredited tier 3 hospital on a 1:8 Sunday daytime rota. They have fantastic facilities including a state-of-the-art CT, excellent ultrasound, scopes, dental x-ray and an array of specialists and provides a great environment to develop your ECC skills. The branch role is sole charge but is fully supported by the team.

Their ideal candidate is someone with at least two years’ experience and will have a passion for all aspects of first opinion veterinary practice and will have a great track record of fostering strong relationships with their clients.

In return they can offer an excellent and competitive salary in the region of £50-£60K plus a generous CPD allowance of £2000. They see CPD as an investment in the individual as well as for the practice and is also keen to fund and support study for certificate qualifications above our standard package.

They have great benefits; including increasing holiday allowance, BUPA private health insurance as well as cash back / refunds on many routine medical costs such as dental care, physiotherapy, optician, chiropody fees etc., plus generous shopping and leisure discounts.

Spacious accommodation is also available if required.
