My client has a vacancy for a registered veterinary nurse to join their small animal hospital in beautiful Brighton. They are proud of their excellent reputation, which is down to their fantastic and welcoming staff.

The practice understands some of the best RVNs need flexible working arrangements so we will consider applicants looking for both full-time and part-time roles.

The right candidate will be friendly, motivated, and keen to work as part of a fairly large team. They would ideally like a nurse with some post-graduation experience; however, they would consider more recently qualified nurses too, especially if they have had experience in a hospital environment during training.

First Opinion, Hospital, ECC and Referrals

Dedicated on-site night staff

Wide range of equipment including CT and Endoscopy

Competitive salary based on experience and further qualifications

37.5 hours a week inclusive of a weekend rota shared fairly among the whole team: approximately one full weekend and two half weekends in 14 with time-off in lieu.

There is also a requirement to work some Bank Holidays (including Christmas/Boxing Day/New Years Day) on a rota that is shared fairly by the team.

Generous annual CPD allowance with extra funding considered for more advanced studies such as certificates.

VDS and RCVS registration fees paid

They value a high standard of patient and client care, are forward-thinking and actively encourage and support our RVNs to pursue their passions and interests – They have nurses with advanced qualifications in all sorts of disciplines including anaesthesia, surgery, ECC and feline medicine.  However they are a nurse training practice and encourage their RVNs to consider becoming clinical coaches if they would like to.
