You will have a duty to report any difﬁculties in understanding the working procedures and come forward with suggestions for development. Assisting the Client Advocate in their role of ensuring the best possible communication between pet owners, referring vet practices, professional contacts and companies with whom they do business with.
The role of the nursing team is to provide constant care to the patients, empathy and understanding in their communication with pet owners and referring vets, and to assist the surgeon and vets in their day to day duties. Provision of 24 hour inpatient and outpatient care. The role of the nursing team is to provide care for the patients at all times, working on a rota with other nurses. They are the ﬁrst port of call for all out of hours communications. The nursing team should ensure that they fulﬁl the CPD requirements of the RCVS.
