My client is currently looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their 3 branch, privately owned Veterinary Practice located in the beautiful North East of England. All three branches have convenient access to local Motorway routes and they expect this will suit anyone worried about travel to and from work.
The main branch is currently readying itself to play host to Vets Now, Europe’s leading veterinary care provider, having secured a long-term contract with them for the out of hours service. This is an exciting time for the business and is testament to the growing reputation.
They are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed Veterinary Surgeon who will fit in with their existing family. They currently employ 7 Vets and 4 RVN’s with further additional support staff covering the 3 branches. The practices each have fantastic medical and surgical facilities with the main branch having ultrasound and digital X Ray equipment, including dental X Ray.
The successful candidate ideally needs to have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working with Small Animals. Strong communication skills are essential, and you must be a good team player. They also want someone who is keen to learn, share and progress with their colleagues, and above all, they want someone who is caring and who will demonstrate a real love for animals.
The practice does also treat exotic animals in addition to small animals and ongoing training would be offered to candidates who show an interest in expanding their knowledge in this area. This is non-essential however.
As previously mentioned, they are a very family orientated practice and they always place heavy emphasis in supporting each other. They all work for the same goals and all strive to provide the very best service and treatments to their clients.
